UNISON is a democratic, member-led trade union and every year we hold our Annual General Meeting across five nights and five venues to maximise the opportunities for as many members as possible to attend.
The Annual General Meeting is open to all branch members and is your chance to meet branch officers, find out about the work they have done on your behalf, elect branch officers for 2020/21, ask questions, review our finances, and vote on motions.
But, our AGMs are about more than just branch business and democracy. They are a great opportunity to meet fellow members and share experiences. The AGM normally lasts about half-an-hour and is followed at each venue by a free raffle and a fantastic free buffet.
Please try to come along to your nearest AGM, it helps us plan if you can let us know that you are coming (contact us). Don’t worry though, you can just turn up on the night.
All AGMs start at 6.30pm with drinks served from 6pm.
Craven – Monday 3 February in Skipton
Hambleton and Richmond – Thursday 6 February in Northallerton
East Coast and Ryedale – Tuesday 11 February in Scarborough
Selby and York – Wednesday 12 February in Selby
Harrogate, Ripon and Knaresborough – Wednesday 26 February in Harrogate
