We’re sharing the first edition of the Social Care Active Members Newsletter with our members.
This newsletter brings together updates and activity from across social care and is intended to support and strengthen the work already happening locally in our branch. It may be particularly useful for social care members who want to feel more connected to wider UNISON activity, campaigning and organising.
We encourage social care members to take a look and share it with colleagues who may find it helpful. The newsletter is also a useful way of keeping up to date with developments affecting the service and the workforce more widely.
The role leading this work is still relatively new, and there is a real interest in engaging with branches and members. If you are a social care member and would like to be more involved, or to understand more about wider social care activity within UNISON, this newsletter is a good place to start.
