You should be receiving your ballot paper for UNISON’s Local Government Service Group Elections.

Ballot papers will be sent to your home address and online ballot codes will be emailed to your email address (or any other address you have given in writing) as shown on our membership system. Members will have the option to vote online or by post. The ballot pack will include a prepaid envelope for returning the ballot paper(s) to the scrutineer, and unique security identifiers for voting online. Our branch has nominated Kerri Tierney from Rotherham Local Government branch and Josh Moore from Bradford Local Government branch to be our representatives on the Local Government Service Group Executive for Yorkshire and Humberside.

Your Branch Committee nominated the following candidates as their views and objectives are in line with our Branch policies.

Kerri Tierney is standing for the Female Seat,

Josh Moore is standing for the General Seat.

Both Kerri and Josh are experienced Local Government workers and are active in both the Regional Structures and within their own branches, Kerri is Branch Secretary and Josh Young Members Officer.

Kerri has worked in Local Government for over 25 years and before being an active member worked in Adult and Social care and understands the unique challenges faced by Local Government employees. Josh is the Young Members Officer and prior to becoming a convenor worked as a Street Scene cleaner.
