UNISON National Labour Link Elections

Please use your vote in the Labour Link Committee Elections!

Ballot papers will be sent to your home address and also if Unison have an email address for you, you will be sent ballot codes to enable you to vote online.

Voting starts on 18 September and ends at 5pm on 20 October.

The members voting helpline opens on 27 September and closes on 16 October.  If you haven’t received a ballot paper, please contact the UNISONdirect ballot helpline on 0800 0857857.

North Yorkshire Local Government Branch have nominated Wendy Nichols for the reasons out lined below:

“I will work tirelessly for a Labour Government committed to a new deal for workers’, better rights in the workplace, strengthening collective bargaining and supporting public services.

I will also strive to bridge the gap between the Labour Party and the trade unions. It is essential that the two wings of the movement work together, recognising that our shared goals are best achieved when we are united.

Remember that a vote for Wendy is a vote for a champion of workers’ rights, an advocate for social justice, and a fighter for a fairer society.
