Throughout 2020 we have been running a ‘Recruit A Friend’ promotion. Every member who recruits a colleague to join UNISON has received a £10 high street shopping voucher, and was entered into a prize draw to win £500.

Yesterday (21 December) the draw took place and our member Helen Varey was pulled out of the hat. Helen works for North Yorkshire County Council and receives the £500 prize just in time for Christmas.

This year has seen record numbers joining UNISON in North Yorkshire, our net increase in members is around 450.
