Local government employers met today to respond to our pay claim for 2020. The trade unions were very disappointed with the response and have rejected the initial offer of just 2% on all pay points, not least because this is far behind other public sector pay settlements in recent years.
UNISON’s negotiating team are dismayed that the local government employers have put off considering our 2020 pay award until February.
